Vegan Strawberry Milkshake

Smooth, creamy, and ultra healthy, this vegan shake is everything a good strawberry milkshake should be!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or pitted medjool date
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Optional add-ins:

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa/cacao powder, optional
  • 1 scoop protein powder, optional

Optional toppings:

  • dairy-free whipped cream
  • shredded coconut
  • cacao nibs

Instructions

Place ingredients into the blender cup and blend until combined. Pour into individual glasses and top with optional toppings.

Serves 1

Notes

If you have a larger blender, you may consider doubling this recipe for easier blending.

Depending on the size or cut of your strawberries, you may need to add a little extra milk. Sometimes I have to add an extra 1/4 – 1/2 cup. Also, if your strawberries are super sweet you may not need any extra sweetener.

Add a scoop of dairy free vanilla ice cream or use canned coconut milk for extra creaminess!

If using a protein powder, you may need to add a bit more milk.
