This Carrot, Pineapple & Ginger Juice is my favorite tropical juice as I get back on track with juicing. With just 3 ingredients it’s light, refreshing, and tastes amazing!

Juicing Feels Good

I started juicing two years ago and stopped after six months or so. I notice a big difference in my outside appearance and overall feeling when I do it daily. It’s so revitalizing in every way and I’m glad to be back at it. It feels good to feel good, and juicing is a regime that is right in line with that feeling.

It takes about 20 minutes to prepare both juices with my compact Breville (affiliate link). It works great and is easy to use and clean. Next, I’ll upgrade to something like this Omega (affiliate link), which I’ve heard great things about in taste, juicing ability, and ease. It’s just quite a bit more than the Breville, but that is where the flavor and ability to extract the most juices come into play.

Buying Carrots in Bulk

Lately, I’ve been buying a 25 lb. bag of organic carrots for juicing. It only costs $14 for this large amount, and I go through one bag every other week on juicing alone for one person. I know not everyone has enough room for this large amount of carrots, but if you have an extra refrigerator to store bulk items, it’s a great option.

And, if you like to buy carrots with the tops, by all means, add those into the juicer too. It will change the color slightly, but the carrot tops are full of their own nutrition and can be juiced without being thrown away. You may also like to add an orange if you have one on hand, it’ll add a nice citrus flair.

My Juicing & Healthy Eating Routine

When I’m away from home, I make two large juices for the day, along with bringing finger foods to munch on, like veggies and hummus or pea shoot pesto as a dip, an orange, grapefruit, etc. It’s just something healthy, easy, and as raw as possible. I always feel at my best when I take the time to put this together before heading out.

I encourage everyone to do their best to add freshly made juice to their daily routine. If you replace a meal with a juice or two, you will feel an overall difference in just a few days. And if you don’t have a juicer, take a look at this post by Minimalist Baker on How to Juice Without a Juicer. There’s also a great recipe for apple, carrot, beet, and ginger juice. I’ll be trying that one soon!

Carrot Pineapple Juice (with Ginger)

This carrot pineapple juice is a classic all-around great drink. The pineapple and ginger pair with the carrots giving it a refreshing tropical feel. I consider this my dessert juice.

This recipe makes about 2 cups. To make it go even further, dilute your juice with a little purified or clean water of choice.

Vibrant colors for a vibrant life!

My juicing experience has changed for better when i switched to grind then press juicing method. Is is fully explained in the Gerson therapy. Juices taste so much better, they have more nutrients and they are not as oxidized as with other types of juicers. This looks like a really interesting combo-must try it! We have an old centrifugal juicer that's still going strong 8 years on and provides us with plenty of fibrous stuff for burgers etc.

It comes w/ lips/lids/1 large/2medium mixing cups/2 different blades, I paid like $135 total w. shipping. LOVING IT! Def. makes doing smoothies/juicing really simple and joyful!
