Nightshade-Free Vegan Recipes
Nightshade-free vegan recipes! Those with nightshade allergies can be sure these vegan recipes exclude the following (or have an option to omit them):
- Tomatoes
- Tomatillos
- Potatoes (except sweet potatoes and yams)
- Eggplants
- Peppers (bell peppers, banana peppers, chili peppers, etc.)
- Red pepper seasonings (paprika, chili powder, cayenne, curry, etc.)
- Goji berries
I use red pepper flakes a lot, which can easily be omitted. Also, if a recipe calls for just 1 chili pepper or 1 bell pepper, it’s here but can be omitted.
